Vacation

A week in Wildwood, New Jersey was just what we needed! Everyone has been working hard. It was great to just relax and enjoy some summer weather while playing on the beach. Ady is a trooper when it comes to travel. She has always been a good traveler. She was two months old when she took her first road trip. We drove from Kentucky to Atlanta, Georgia to visit my sister and her family. Since then Ady has flown on more airplanes than I can count. And we take road trips often. She is a very flexible, enjoyable little girl to be around. On our way home from New Jersey we stopped in Philadelphia to do a quick tour of Independence Hall and see some other sites. I think that was Ady's favorite part of the whole week! She keeps talking about it.

can you see the dolphins in the background?

Look what we found on the beach. It was alive and Ady made sure we sent it back into the water.

Ady could not wait to see the Liberty Bell!

The very room in Independence Hall where both the Declaration of Independence and
the Constitution were written and adopted.

Enjoying the Winter

Here we are at the Chambersburg, PA Ice Festival 2012.
What a fun day! They even had an ice slide that Ady went down a few times.

Ady and Daddy snowboarding at Whitetail Resort in Mercersberg, PA. Ady was intimidated by the "tall mountains." I told her to wait until she makes a trip out west to do some snowboarding!

Moving Day!

What a mess!

The Polar Express

Our trip aboard the Polar Express was fun! Someone read the story to the whole group of kids and adults, then hot cocoa was served. After that we boarded the train and during our ride the conductor punched Ady's initials on her ticket, cookies, chocolate and more hot cocoa was served. The conductor lead us in Christmas songs. At the end of the ride Santa arrived and talked to every child on our train car. Ady sat on his lap (the first year she actually did it!) and asked for some American Girl items. He gave her a silver bell. She was so excited she couldn't stop talking about it!
